parent and baby yoga

parent and baby yoga is a great way to rebuild your strength after birth, ease aches and pains from holding + nursing babies and (most importantly) a reason to get out the house a meet other local parents!

Join Katy and baby Roxy for 50 minutes of stretching, singing and sensory. We’ll stretch our babies growing bodies through song and play and focus on those hard hit areas in parenting bodies (hello sore necks from feeding, wrists from buggy-ing, backs from carrying .. to name but a few!) through a flowing yoga practice, while connecting with our babies and other parents. We’ll even throw in some baby sensory lights, ribbons and bubbles for the ‘babes’. (let’s face it, who doesn’t enjoy the majestic-ness of a bubble machine !)

Enjoy some time to get to know other local parents with a cuppa post class (and likely feed and 100th nappy change of the day)

You’re welcome to join as soon as you’ve had the all clear from your midwife / GP to exercise and we welcome all babies up to 1year old.

Can’t make it? Feel free to offer your spot to a mate and they can let us know on the door, or please let us know as spaces are limited and we can let someone from the waitlist know .

movement, massage + music

or ‘MMM’…the sound you’ll make when you get those shoulders released!

Starting with gentle movement to ease sore bodies and encourage blood flow for both parents and bubs, we’ll move on to give our babies massage to ease out growing bodies- singing songs to connect and play with our babies while we go! We’ll throw in some bubbles* and other delights to entertain the littles… But the best bit?.. closing each session we’ll learn some (much needed) massage moves for parents to ease those hard hit parenting areas (we’re talking heads, shoulders.. knees and toes, knees and toes…) using Thai massage techniques. Each week we’ll introduce babies to soothing sounds of instruments - singing bowls, guitars, violins and cellos to name a few.

* of the pop-able variety, not the flute dwelling nectar…but feel free to stay post class to get some fizz (or tea/ coffee / snacks) from the Manor Arms with your mumma (and pappa) friends!

Baby massage can help to relieve growing and teething pains as well as help to ease colic, constipation and wind.

Learn massage techniques  to help sooth your baby, deepen your bond and learn to understand your  baby's non verbal communication.

The baby massage hub is an on - demand video resource with worksheets, to help guide you week by week to give a successful full body massage.

You’ll have access for 3months as well as access to my on-demand platform (worth £12.99 p/m) so you can yoga while bubba sleeps.


pregnancy yoga

Pregnancy yoga is the perfect way to keep your body strong, mind calm and ease those pregnancy pains during your second and third trimester.

A dedicated hour to step away from the daily bump and grind and instead connect with your baby bump and mind (omg, see what I did there?!) Connect with other mumma’s, Learn breathing and mediation techniques for labour and of course enjoy a yoga practice to ease your body, build strength + stamina and calm the mind.
